The Art Room, Barlow

Picture

      Construction and De-Construction
                      Tutor: Lesley Alexander
        Cost: £75.00 for two-day course
                        New dates coming soon
                                      10.00 - 4.00

On these two days we will be using collected textile ephemera, books, maps and old documents etc. to create a new surface which can be made into a book form, textile hanging or 3-d work. It is a wonderful way of using up all those interesting odds and ends which we gather but never seem to find a place or use for.

Print and stitch will be an integral part of the process. Creative processes start to develop once you begin combining materials and mediums of your choice.

The course is being held at The Art Room, Barlow, S18 7TE which is a new, unique art space on the edge of Chesterfield overlooking a beautiful wild flower meadow.

A £20.00 non returnable deposit will secure you a place.

Number of places 6 - 10. If there are not enough people the workshop will be cancelled and any payments returned.
A list of requirements will be emailed prior to the dates.
